Sally’s monoprints are built up using a variety of different printmaking processes and techniques, including intaglio, collagraph and Chine Colle. The process of layering is essential for developing a unique print of different textures and depth.These images encompass layers of history, seasons, thoughts, memories, and conversations. Her response as an artist was to reclaim these untold and unseen aspects to represent the fragility of life and nature.
Sally is a member of the Double Elephant Print workshop in Exeter. Her recent work is exhibited in several exhibitions and Galleries in the South West.
