I studied Fine art at Stourbridge College of Art in the 1970’s specialising in sculpture. I have spent my career teaching art, and working as an artist, exhibiting in both group and one person exhibitions. I began to make prints as a student because I enjoyed the processes, and the way that two dimensional images complimented my sculptural forms. I have continued to make prints, in particular with the relief methods of lino and wood block, and mono prints.
The move to Somerset in the summer of 2016 was my first experience of the landscape of the Levels, which I have found to be both beautiful and inspiring. I am currently developing a body of work in print making, sculpture, and painting, which is concerned with human interventions in the landscape.
